On January 1, 2017, Karl Zimmerman & Sen Holiday rappelled to the top of U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota during the Vikings-Bears football game and hung a huge banner that said “U.S. Bank, DIVEST #NoDAPL”. U.S. Bank has invested $175 million in Energy Transfer Partners, the parent company to the Dakota Access Pipeline.
